株式会社Smart Laser & Plasma Systemsは、2018年2月に徳島大学発ベンチャー企業として起業しました。主要な技術・製品は、プロセス環境計測装置(CT-TDLAS)と元素組成分析装置(LS-DP-LIBS)です。プロセス環境計測装置(CT-TDLAS)は、CT（Computed Tomography：コンピュータ断層撮影）技術を使い、産業プロセス内の温度、化学種濃度空間分布をリアルタイムで計測できます。また、元素組成分析装置(LS-DP-LIBS)は、原料、製品の元素組成をオンラインで分析することが可能です。ゴミ焼却施設や発電所、鉄鋼関連施設、半導体製造装置産業などの産業プロセスは、プロセス内部が把握できないブラックボックスであることも多く、トータルエネルギー消費やCO2排出量の低減には、プロセス内部を可視化し、的確に制御することが必要となります。当社の技術・製品を活用することにより、これらの産業プロセスの可視化・次世代制御が実現できます。
産業プロセス全体を全自動化するDX (デジタルトランスフォーメーション) 化プラットフォームの産業導入も進めています。当社の測定技術とシミュレーション技術(現実世界で起こるプロセスをコンピューター上に再現する技術)を融合し、デジタルツインにより産業プロセスの全自動化を行います。このDX化プラットフォームを用いることにより、プロセスデータをデジタルツイン内で管理でき、産業プロセスの変化を高精度で予測・制御可能な統合システムの構築が可能となります。
AI(人工知能)や、ビックデータを利用した技術革新が進む現代は、第4次産業革命の真っただ中です。カーボンニュートラルなどの課題に対し、当社技術・製品を活用し、地球環境に貢献する企業を目指しています。

"SMART LASER & PLASMA SYSTEMS CO."was established as a venture company spun off from Tokushima University in February 2018. Its primary technologies and products are the Process Environment Measurement Device (CT-TDLAS) and the Elemental Composition Analysis Device (LS-DP-LIBS). The Process Environment Measurement Device (CT-TDLAS) utilizes Computed Tomography (CT) technology to measure real-time temperature and spatial distribution of chemical species concentrations within industrial processes. Additionally, the Elemental Composition Analysis Device (LS-DP-LIBS) enables online analysis of elemental composition in raw materials and products. Industries such as waste incineration facilities, power plants, iron and steel-related facilities, and semiconductor manufacturing equipment often involve processes with limited internal visibility, making it crucial to visualize and precisely control them for reducing total energy consumption and CO2 emissions. By leveraging our technology and products, the visualization and next-generation control of these industrial processes can be achieved.
We are also advancing the industrial implementation of a Digital Transformation (DX) platform for the full automation of entire industrial processes. By integrating our measurement technology and simulation technology (which replicates real-world processes on computers), we will achieve the full automation of industrial processes through a digital twin. This DX platform enables the management of process data within a digital twin, facilitating the construction of an integrated system capable of accurately predicting and controlling changes in industrial processes.
In today's era of technological innovation driven by AI (Artificial Intelligence) and Big Data, we are in the midst of the Fourth Industrial Revolution. Addressing challenges like carbon neutrality, we aim to contribute to the global environment by utilizing our technology and products, striving to become a company dedicated to this cause.
